This semester we are celebrating
the 250th anniversary of St. Louis. St. Louis is hosting a Cakeway to the West to help commemorate this milestone.
“Cakeway to the West is one part
public art exhibit, one part scavenger hunt and one part history lesson - all
adding up to a year's worth of fun exploring St. Louis! Standing four-feet-tall, each two-tier ornamental birthday cake has been decorated by local artists and will mark a location of note in the St. Louis region. 200 of the locations were chosen by stl250 and 50 were selected through a public vote.”
